Your child’s gown will be made according to the measurements you provide. For the most accurate fit, we strongly recommend being measured by a professional seamstress.
Our How to Measure guide (available in the Size Chart section) can serve as a reference during your measuring appointment.
Measurements should be taken while your child is wearing fitted clothing. Bulky or thick clothing may affect accuracy and should be avoided.
For skirt length, measurements should be taken while wearing the shoes planned for the event, particularly if the shoes have a heel.

Additional considerations:For comfort and ease of movement, we recommend allowing a small amount of natural ease when taking measurements. As children may grow between the time an order is placed and the event date, this should be taken into consideration when submitting measurements.
If a child has begun to develop a bust or may require additional shaping or support, a professional seamstress may advise whether structural elements—such as light cups or bodice adjustments—are recommended. If additional materials or modifications are required, please let us know. We will confirm feasibility and any applicable costs with the designer before proceeding.
Recent photos (optional) taken from the front, side, and back while wearing fitted clothing may be helpful for understanding proportions and achieving the best possible fit. Photos may be emailed to marelliexclusive@marelliexclusive.com after placing your order.
You may also include any additional details you would like the production team to consider.
